Responsibilities:
• Design, synthesize, and evaluate compounds based on specific project objectives (SAR, SPR, or DMPK).
• Plan and execute multi-step organic synthesis and purification of high-quality target molecules.
• Support our chemistry teams in troubleshooting and proposing alternative solutions if necessary.
• Present scientific findings and research updates in internal and external project team meetings.
• Asist in preparing patent applications and publications.
• Maintain a safe and productive laboratory environment.
• Maintain proper lab notebook and sample management.
Requirements:
• PhD in organic chemistry with 0-2 years of work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry or a related setting
• Strong track record of achievement in the synthesis of complex molecules and synthetic route optimizations, with deep knowledge of modern synthetic and analytical techniques
• Demonstrated technical/problem solving skills and scientific credentials in synthetic and medicinal chemistry as evidenced by publications, patents, and presentations
• Expertise in synthesis, purification, and analytical characterization of organic compounds (NMR, LCMS, and HPLC)
• Experience working with CRO chemistry team
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
