Cervical cancer is a disease that seriously threatens women’s lives and health. The establishment of a mouse cervical cancer model can provide an experimental model for the research and development of new drugs and individualized treatments for cervical cancer. Human cervical squamous cell carcinoma SiHa cells are a kind of cells that can be used to construct cervical cancer models. By studying the proliferation and inhibitory effects of compounds on SiHa cells, it can provide a research basis for exploring drugs for the treatment of cervical cancer.

The successful establishment of a mouse cervical cancer model of SiHa cells can provide an ideal animal model for human cervical cancer tumor targeted therapy and biological characteristics research. Some researchers have established a tumor-bearing model of human cervical cancer SiHa cells on the body surface of nude mice, and analyzed and identified their tumorigenic characteristics [1]. The researchers inoculated three groups of SiHa cell suspensions subcutaneously in the back of the right axilla of the three groups of nude mice, and established a tumor-bearing model of human cervical cancer on the body surface of nude mice. Observed and measured the tumor formation rate of nude mice. The size of the tumor, the tumor tissue was taken 5 weeks later to observe its histological characteristics by pathological methods, and the HPV16E7 DNA expression of the tumor tissue was detected by PCR and immunohistochemistry methods. Finally, a nude mouse model of SiHa cell tumor was successfully established, which provides an ideal model for exploring drugs for the treatment of cervical cancer.

The establishment of a mouse cervical cancer model can provide an ideal animal model for further research on the pathogenesis of cervical cancer and exploring strategies for treatment and prevention of cervical cancer. After years of experience accumulation, multi-party verification and long-term practical tests, Medicilon’s Pharmacodynamics Department has established a complete animal model library, which can provide various effective animal models according to the needs of customers to test the effectiveness of drugs.

Taralidomide, a derivative of thalidomide, is a new type of immunomodulator with anti-tumor effects. Some researchers have established a mouse human cervical cancer SiHa cell transplantation tumor model. Through in vivo and in vitro experiments, the results show that lenalidomide has no obvious inhibitory effect on the growth of SiHa cells in vitro, but it can inhibit mouse SiHa transplantation tumors in vivo. The growth of the mouse model SiHa tumor lung metastasis can be inhibited.

Researchers also observed the effect of Dendrobium huoshanense on the immune function of mice bearing cervical cancer SiHa cells. The researchers randomly divided 60 BALB/c nude mice into Dendrobium high-dose and low-dose groups and model groups, and injected subcutaneously into the axillary cervix. Modeling of cancer SiHa cells. Rats in Dendrobium high and low dose groups were given corresponding doses of drugs ig, and the model group ig was given the same amount of normal saline, and the tumor tissue size and weight were weighed [2]; Mouse peripheral blood CD8+T cell count; immunofluorescence staining to detect CD8+T cell expression in tumor tissue; Western Blot method to detect IFN-γ expression in tumor tissue. The results of the study found that Dendrobium huoshanense can inhibit the growth of tumor tissue in SiHa-bearing cervical cancer mice, regulate the number of peripheral blood CD8+ T cells, and affect the secretion of cytokine IFN-γ.

By constructing animal models, the etiology and pathogenesis of tumors can be explored. The establishment of a mouse cervical cancer model and preliminary study of its biological characteristics can provide an ideal animal model for further research on the pathogenesis, treatment and prevention strategies of cervical cancer.
